Delhi's Cooperative Leap: Modernizing Public Grievance Redressal

In a significant move to enhance public grievance redressal, Delhi's Social Welfare Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh inaugurated several new facilities at the Registrar of Cooperative Societies (RCS) office on Tuesday.

These updates include a complaint box, a biometric attendance system, and CCTV cameras, all aimed at ensuring the time-bound resolution of public grievances. The improvements were widely lauded by applicants and complainants during a public hearing held at the RCS office.

The minister emphasized that these steps are part of the larger vision for 2025, the International Year of Cooperatives, aiming to make significant strides through citizen-oriented initiatives. Singh reiterated the Delhi government's commitment to self-reliance through cooperation, aligning with Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah's vision of 'Prosperity through Cooperation.'
