In a startling incident from Faridabad, two college students were assaulted by villagers who mistook their photography project for drone spying. The clash occurred at Triveni Society in Sector 78, where residents suspected the students of using a drone atop a deserted building.

Despite police presence, the situation escalated when villagers set ablaze the students' scooter and launched an attack on law enforcement officers. The two students, Ayush and Avi, were found using their phones for an academic project, not flying drones as alleged.

In response, police apprehended Bittu Khatana, a Faridpur village resident, accused of instigating the violence. An FIR was lodged against 15 individuals, with investigations ongoing to identify other perpetrators. The incident underscores the challenges of navigating suspicion and misunderstanding in technology use.
