In a disturbing incident at Astha Kunj Park in southeast Delhi, police have arrested an 18-year-old and a woman, and apprehended two minors in connection with the murder of a mute vagabond. The victim, identified as Dharam alias Gunga, was discovered dead on August 13, sparking an intensive investigation.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southeast) Hemant Tiwari, the suspects, including Dinesh alias Lalla and two minors, were at the park for food and drinks. They allegedly attacked Dharam after he stared at them for a lengthy period, utilizing fists, kicks, and a stick in their assault.

The arrest also led to charges against Rahana, aged 44, for supplying cannabis to the accused. Despite the absence of CCTV in the park, surveillance from nearby areas aided the investigation, resulting in the recovery of blood-stained clothes and a stick involved in the crime. Further, 175 grams of cannabis were seized from Rahana.
