Tragedy struck in Jharkhand's Dumka district as an elderly couple was found dead in their residence under mysterious circumstances. The deceased, identified as Nav Gopal Saha, 62, and his wife Bimu Bala Saha, 58, were discovered by their son in a gruesome state.
According to police reports, the couple's son arrived at their Chorkata village home on Wednesday night to find the main entrance locked. Upon entering through another door, he encountered his parents in a pool of blood, leading him to promptly alert authorities. Superintendent of Police Pitambar Singh Kherwar confirmed that a forensic team from Ranchi has been called to examine the site.
While the cause behind the violent act remains uncertain, sharp weapons are suspected to have been used in the murders. Investigations are ongoing, with the police searching for any clues that might explain the motive behind the crime. No signs of theft have been reported, adding to the mystery.
