NATO member Lithuania has established a 90-kilometer no-fly zone near its capital, responding to drone activity from Belarus.

According to the Defense Ministry, the action addresses security threats to society, notably risks to civil aviation arising from unpiloted aircraft breaching airspace.

The no-fly zone, operational from August 14 to 12,000 feet, enables military response to violations, as recent incidents saw Russian-made drones straying into Lithuania.
