Congress MLA Arif Masood Faces Investigation Over Forged College Documents
Madhya Pradesh police have formed a three-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate allegations against Congress MLA Arif Masood for operating a college based on forged documents. The SIT, led by Sanjeev Shami, will probe the recognition of Indira Priyadarshini College, which has been canceled following Masood's legal challenge.

In Madhya Pradesh, authorities have established a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe claims that Congress MLA Arif Masood ran a college using forged documents to secure its recognition.
Headed by ADG Telecom Sanjeev Shami, the SIT includes DIG Chhindwara Range Kalyan Chakravarty and AIG Training Nimisha Pandey.
After the High Court's directive, an FIR was filed against Masood under multiple Indian Penal Code sections for cheating and document forgery.
