Tricolour Hero Tragically Slain in Chhattisgarh

In a remote village of Binagunda in Chhattisgarh's Kanker district, Manish Nureti, who participated in Independence Day celebrations by hoisting the Tricolour, was killed by Naxalites. Officials revealed that Nureti was unjustly accused of being a police informer by the armed group.

The tragic incident unfolded when a group of Naxalites abducted Nureti and two others from the village. A purported 'jan adalat' was held, resulting in Nureti's death, while the others were brutally thrashed and then released. Naxalites posted false accusations against Nureti, branding him as a police informer.

Authorities have condemned the unverified accusations, asserting that several villagers over the past year have met similar fates despite no police affiliations. An investigation into the incident is ongoing, with local law enforcement promising strict action against those responsible.
