North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has vowed to continue his country's support for Russia, viewing it as a fraternal duty, according to state media KCNA. This declaration was made public following discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin during China's World War II commemoration in Beijing.

The meeting marked Kim's first encounter with both Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, coinciding with a significant military parade. North Korea, which has already sent soldiers and military supplies to aid Russia in Ukraine, intends to bolster its support by deploying additional troops.

According to South Korean intelligence, further reinforcements are planned, including 6,000 troops. The dialogue between Kim and Putin centered on enhancing their nations' long-term strategic partnership, affirming a commitment to elevated bilateral relations.
