Relief Efforts Roll Out in Disaster-Hit Hamirpur

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu visited disaster-stricken villages in Sujanpur, Hamirpur, to oversee relief and rehabilitation efforts.

He promised substantial government support to affected families. Sukhu assessed flood and landslide impacts in Khairi and Chabutra, announcing relief packages worth Rs 8.70 lakh per family. Local MLA Captain Ranjit Singh's contribution was included.

State-wide assessments continue as officials seek central cooperation for transferring forest land for rebuilding homes and addressing seasonal damages across Himachal Pradesh.
