EU Moves to Fortify Eastern Borders with Drone Wall

The European Defence Commissioner, Andrius Kubilius, announced plans to organize a meeting with EU defence ministers next week. The agenda focuses on developing a 'drone wall' along the EU's eastern border, in response to a recent Russian drone's breach into Poland.

Kubilius revealed to Reuters that discussions about a drone defense line were already underway among some EU nations before last week's incident. The Russian incursion has now pressed the EU's executive to expedite the project's execution.
