Samajwadi Party MLA Anand Yadav has accused Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya of ejecting him from a crucial review meeting held in Bahraich on Thursday. Yadav, representing the Kaiserganj constituency, claimed he faced undue expulsion despite his formal invitation to participate in discussions regarding pressing local issues.

The MLA, who said he arrived before Maurya, was surprised to be directed out of the meeting. Yadav intended to address significant concerns in his constituency, such as the threats posed by wolves and fishing cats. However, he alleged that instead of a government review, the session felt akin to a partisan gathering favoring the deputy chief minister.

Yadav expressed his resolve to take the matter to court and to the attention of Samajwadi Party president, Akhilesh Yadav. He accused Maurya of harboring a criminal mindset, citing previous cases against him that were dismissed after he assumed power. The incident underscores the growing rift and political tension within Uttar Pradesh's governance.
