A tragic accident unfolded on Delhi's Mandir Marg Thursday morning, as 52-year-old tea-stall owner Gangaram Tiwari lost his life when a Police Control Room van crashed into his business. Tiwari was the primary provider for his family, working tirelessly despite a physical disability to save for his children's upcoming weddings.

The incident occurred around 5 am while Tiwari slept at his tea shop. His son, Sukumar Tiwari, was not present at the time but rushed to the scene following the accident. He claims local residents attempted to prevent the intoxicated police personnel from fleeing. Police, however, assert the involved parties were sober based on medical reports.

Gangaram Tiwari leaves behind six children and his wife, who reside in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh. The family now faces severe financial challenges following his untimely death. Amid growing calls for justice and compensation, the community reflects on the loss of a man remembered for his hard work and honesty.
