Fast Patrol Vessel 'Adamya' Bolsters Indian Coast Guard's Maritime Capabilities

The Indian Coast Guard has strengthened its maritime operations with the launch of the fast patrol vessel 'Adamya' at the Odisha coast.
The vessel, formally commissioned by Satyajit Mohanty, Joint Secretary of Defence Policy, stands as part of an initiative to build eight such ships by Goa Shipyard Limited.
With a speed of 50 kmph and stationed at Paradip, it is designed to bolster efforts against infiltration, piracy, and enable rescue operations, while supporting maritime law enforcement and coastal surveillance.
