In a major breakthrough, Delhi Police apprehended Jugal Kishore, the alleged mastermind behind a staggering Rs 2,700 crore investment scam.
Kishore is accused of deceiving numerous investors by falsely promoting a township project in Dholera, Gujarat, promising substantial returns and falsely claiming the Prime Minister's endorsement.
The investigation revealed widespread fraud with over 150 complaints filed across the nation. Kishore's company, Nexa Evergreen Pvt Ltd, collected funds promising weekly returns and plots, while allegedly misappropriating resources to other firms.
