A tense 50-hour search ended in relief as a four-year-old girl, abducted from Gurugram railway station, was safely rescued at Pilibhit railway station, Uttar Pradesh. Officials confirmed the recovery on Friday.

Drastic measures ensued post-abduction on September 16, when the girl's father was drugged. The Railway Police, under SP Nitika Gehlot, immediately mobilized 18 raiding parties.
