CBI Cracks Down on Chhattisgarh Recruitment Scam
The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested five individuals, including a former IAS officer, in connection with a recruitment exam scam in Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission. Allegations include manipulation and favoritism during the 2020-2022 exam cycle, leading to the selection of relatives for key administrative roles.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested five individuals, including Jeevan Kishore Dhruv, a former IAS officer, for alleged irregularities in the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) recruitment exams. This action follows accusations of favoritism in selecting candidates.
Among those arrested are the former secretary of CGPSC, his son Sumit Dhruv, Arti Wasnik, Misha Kosle, and Deepa Adil. The arrests were made in connection with manipulation and favoritism in the selection of key administrative posts during exams conducted from 2020 to 2022.
The special CBI court has placed the arrested individuals under CBI custody till September 22, with a total of twelve persons charged in the case so far. The investigation revealed that officials facilitated the selection of their own children and relatives by influencing exams and interviews.
