Lt Gen P K Mishra, the General Officer Commanding of White Knight Corps, conducted a review of ongoing anti-terror operations in the hilly terrains of Udhampur, Doda, and Kishtwar districts in Jammu and Kashmir, following recent clashes with terrorists, according to officials.

A substantial search operation is active in the Seoj Dhar forest, linking Dudu-Basantgarh in Udhampur with Bhaderwah in Doda since a soldier's death in a firefight last Friday. Concurrently, a new operation commenced in Keshwan forest, Kishtwar after a brief encounter this past Sunday.

Accompanied by Maj Gen A P S Bal, Lt Gen Mishra surveyed the scene via helicopter. Despite no recent terrorist contact, ground and aerial units remain vigilant using helicopters, drones, and sniffer dogs to trace and neutralize suspects. Security forces are also conducting operations in the Malhar area of Kathua district, responding to reports of suspicious activity.
