A chilling incident in Koothanadi, Kollam, unfolded as Isaac allegedly murdered his 39-year-old wife Shalini and confessed to the crime via Facebook Live on Monday morning. The shocking revelation has raised questions about the couple's marital strife and its tragic culmination.
According to the FIR, the attack occurred around 6:30 am, and was triggered by personal disputes, ultimately leading Isaac to assault Shalini while she was preparing to bathe. The grotesque scenario was compounded by Isaac's live confession, where he accused Shalini of distrust and misappropriation of jewellery.
Following the confession, Isaac surrendered at the Punalur police station. Subsequently, police discovered Shalini's lifeless body and initiated a legal case under section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Forensic teams are scrutinizing the crime scene, while both the victim and accused's mobile phones have been seized for further examination.
