In a shocking revelation, a 22-year-old madrasa teacher has been detained in Alwar, accused of heading a sextortion racket. Police, under Operation Cyber Sangram, apprehended Soyav Khan from a concealed location in Dholagarh Devi for his alleged involvement in extortion activities with links to Bangladesh.
According to Superintendent of Police Sudhir Chaudhary, Khan operated by contacting victims through video calls, subtly luring them into revealing private moments which he then recorded. His subsequent threats involved sharing these compromising clips with victims' family members unless large ransom sums were paid.
Investigations further discovered Khan's phone brimming with incriminating evidence, including explicit chats and videos, along with financial transaction trails connecting his activities to Bangladesh and other international locations, intensifying the case's international dimension.
