A man believed to be in contact with agents of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) was arrested with two hand grenades, according to a senior Punjab Police officer. Major progress was made as Amritsar Rural Police captured Ravinder Singh, also known as Ravi, from Tarn Taran and seized the grenades, shared Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav on X.

The early phase of the investigation disclosed that the detained individual had been communicating with ISI operatives and had received a delivery from across the border. Yadav confirmed that an FIR had been filed at the Gharinda police station in Amritsar.

The DGP assured that further investigations are ongoing to reveal the full extent of the network. He reiterated Punjab Police's dedication to dismantling terror organizations, combating organized crime, and maintaining public safety and peace across the state.
