Odisha Assembly Speaker Surama Padhy is set to attend the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC) in Bridgetown, Barbados, with other Indian delegates, including Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. The CPC is the largest annual gathering of Commonwealth Parliamentarians, discussing global political issues.

Padhy will also attend the 9th Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians (CWP) Conference. The conference takes place from October 5 to 12, 2025. Following the conference, Padhy plans to tour London until October 14, interacting with the Odia diaspora to discuss the conference outcomes.

Representing Ranpur, Padhy intends to visit the British Museum to view a historically significant bamboo stick. Her itinerary includes stops in Zurich and Paris, with meetings at the Indian High Commission and the local Odia community. She returns to Odisha on October 19.
