Lavro, a deputy commander in Ukraine's 25th Airborne Brigade, noted, "The enemy is putting pressure on us, and we are doing our best to repel them." The city's surrounding areas are being encircled in a classic pincer movement by Russian forces, highlighting the ongoing strategic pressure on Kyiv's eastern front.
Despite the relentless attacks, Lavro mentioned a significant increase in the use of Ukrainian-made drones and ammunition since 2023.
