In a recent move highlighting indiscipline within law enforcement, a Station House Officer (SHO) in Ajmer has been moved from his position following a surprise inspection by the Inspector General.

The unannounced visit revealed that officers were not in their uniforms, CCTV cameras were inoperative, and two individuals were allegedly detained without reasonable cause.

The Superintendent of Police subsequently reassigned SHO Bhopal Singh to police lines, denouncing his disregard for official responsibilities and failure in effective supervision.
