Detained at the Border: Unraveling the Story of Two Pakistani Nationals in Rajasthan

In a recent incident near the India-Pakistan border, the Border Security Force (BSF) detained two Pakistani nationals in Rajasthan's Barmer district. Among them was a minor child, allegedly attempting to cross into Indian territory, officials reported.

The two individuals, identified as Kanji, 47, from the Bhil community, and a seven-year-old boy presumed to be his son, were intercepted at the Zero Point along the Janpaliya border by troops from the 83rd Battalion of the BSF. These detainees hail from Hemari village in Pakistan's Tharparkar district, officials disclosed.

Initial findings revealed that the suspects intended to enter India to reunite with a relative connected to the family by marriage. Following preliminary questioning, the BSF transferred them to local police custody for a thorough interrogation facilitated jointly by intelligence and security agencies, aiming to uncover their true motives and verify their backgrounds.
