A troubling incident has surfaced at a state-run children's home in Saidabad, where a supervisor is alleged to have sexually assaulted a 10-year-old boy on several occasions.

According to police, the boy confided in his mother about these incidents when he returned home for the Dussehra vacation. He claimed the assaults began in May of this year.

Following a complaint by the boy's mother, authorities registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act on October 11. The accused is currently in custody, and an investigation is underway. Officials are also exploring allegations that other children at the facility may have been victimized.
