Authorities in Delhi have made headway in the case of the stolen gold-plated kalash from a Jain temple in the city's Jyoti Nagar area, arresting two individuals linked to the theft.

The officials confirmed the recovery of the urn, although the mastermind behind the burglary is still at large. Scrap dealers—a 42-year-old woman from Sundar Nagri and Danish, aged 24, from New Mustafabad—are currently in custody.

Police are actively pursuing leads to capture the main perpetrator, following a review of CCTV footage that captured the suspect's movements during the theft, which coincided with Karva Chauth festivities. The local Jain community remains anxious due to recent thefts worth Rs 1.5 crore during a religious event.
