Nida Khan, a female employee at TCS in Nashik, has approached the court for anticipatory bail amidst accusations related to alleged religious conversion and sexual harassment. Khan, citing her recent pregnancy, faces allegations alongside other employees accused of similar offenses.
Nashik's sessions court is set to hear Khan's plea while police continue their investigation into the broader case, which includes two other male suspects, Raza Memon and Shafi Sheikh. Memon and Sheikh have had their police remand extended to allow authorities to gather further evidence and question key witnesses.
TCS has clarified Khan's role as a process associate, not an HR manager, and enforces a strict no-tolerance policy against harassment. As investigations proceed by a Special Investigation Team, communication from the company emphasizes ongoing internal reviews to address the allegations.
