The European Union is on the brink of approving a substantial financial package for Ukraine. A €90 billion loan, equivalent to about $105.76 billion, is expected to receive approval from EU countries on Wednesday, according to the union's foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas.

The announcement was made by Kallas on Tuesday, following a meeting of EU foreign affairs ministers in Luxembourg. "I expect a positive decision on the €90 billion loan in the next 24 hours," she confirmed, indicating strong support within the bloc.

The loan is a significant gesture of support as Ukraine continues to face substantial challenges. With the conversion rate at $1 equating to 0.8510 euros, the EU's financial backing underscores its commitment to aiding Ukraine's stability and development.
