Authorities in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir have seized a property allegedly bought using proceeds from drug trafficking, according to officials.
The confiscated asset is a double-storey house valued at Rs 31.65 lakh and is owned by Mohammad Yousuf Bhat, who resides in Vishroo Payeen Keller in South Kashmir.
The property was identified as linked to illegal drug trade earnings, officials said. This operation is part of an investigation linked to a First Information Report filed at Keller police station, they added.
