CIC Directs AIIMS Delhi to Fill Gaps in Faculty Promotion RTI Response

The Central Information Commission (CIC) has intervened in AIIMS Delhi's handling of an RTI request concerning faculty promotions, demanding a complete and accurate response.

Maroof Ahmad Khan filed the appeal, accusing AIIMS of providing incorrect, incomplete information after charging documentation fees, particularly about grading and candidate evaluation.

The CIC has instructed AIIMS to thoroughly search its records and provide a comprehensive response, while also directing them to submit an affidavit if certain documents are unavailable.
