Tragedy in Vaideha: Panchayat Assistant Found Dead

In a tragic incident in Vaideha village, Rita Devi, a 27-year-old panchayat assistant, was found dead inside the panchayat building. The local police reported the discovery, indicating that she was struggling with stress prior to the incident. Officer R K Chaturvedi revealed that the exact cause of death would be confirmed post-mortem.

Rita Devi had been residing with her parents since January this year. On the day of the incident, her brother, Sheshram, visited the panchayat building to deliver some documents to her. Upon his visit at 1.30 pm, Rita was still alive.

Growing concerned when Rita did not come back home by 2.30 pm, her mother sent Sheshram to check on her again. It was then that he discovered the grim scene, finding Rita hanging from a ceiling fan within an open room. Police are continuing their investigation into the precise circumstances of this incident.
