An accountant employed at a private cement plant suffered injuries after being shot by unidentified attackers near Khairada railway crossing in the Mataundh area, authorities confirmed on Thursday.
According to Additional Superintendent of Police Shivraj, the incident unfolded on Wednesday night when police received a Dial 112 alert about intrusion and shooting at the cement facility owned by Vipin Dixit. Pushpendra Singh, aged 38, was working as an accountant at the time.
The police promptly arrived at the scene, ensuring the injured Singh was transferred to a trauma center, where his condition is reported as stable with pellet injuries to his left shoulder. Superintendent of Police Palash Bansal has also visited the site. An attempt to murder case has been filed against unknown individuals, with investigations ongoing to determine the motive.
