Data from Vortexa reveals that from April 13 to 21, approximately 10.7 million barrels of Iranian crude exited the U.S.-patrolled Strait of Hormuz.
The shipments, carried by vessels with switched-off AIS data, defied a U.S. Navy blockade that spans strategically from Iran to Oman.
The blockade led to a significant drop in Iran-linked traffic, now at 1-2 tankers daily, down from 2-3 per day previously. U.S. forces have instructed 29 vessels to reverse course, intensifying the economic standoff.
