Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy is pressing for the first tranche of a €90 billion loan from the European Union to bolster military capabilities, aiming for it by late May or early June.

In a recent WhatsApp communication with journalists, Zelenskiy emphasized the importance of the loan as a means to strengthen Ukraine's defense forces.
