U.S.-Kuwaiti Journalist Freed After Detention in Kuwait Over Iran War Posts

The U.S. State Department confirmed that the journalist, who was arrested while visiting family in Kuwait, has safely departed the Gulf nation. Shihab-Eldin, known for his work with international media outlets, was arrested on March 3. Human rights advocates had called for his release, and on Thursday, his acquittal was welcomed by press freedom groups.
