Police in Jharkhand's Bokaro district have successfully solved the murder mystery of Baby Devi, an unidentified woman whose body was discovered in a plastic sack floating in the Jamuniya River. Five suspects, including the main accused Guddu Barnwal, were apprehended in connection with the crime.
Bokaro Superintendent of Police, Nathu Singh Meena, confirmed that the victim, Baby Devi, had been missing from the Chas Police Station area since April 20. Evidence revealed that Guddu Barnwal, with the help of his accomplices, murdered her over an old dispute and disposed of her body in the river.
The investigation utilized technical inputs and tips from informants, leading to the arrests of the suspects from Bokaro. Baby Devi's husband identified her body at a hospital mortuary. Police seized a car with bloodstains and strands of long hair, as well as six mobile phones, further implicating the culprits.
