Crackdown on Two-Wheeler Theft: 20 Stolen Vehicles Recovered in Bengaluru

Police in Bengaluru have arrested two individuals linked to a spate of two-wheeler thefts across the city. This operation led to the recovery of 20 stolen vehicles, valued at Rs 15 lakhs.
The arrests followed a complaint lodged by a resident within Talaghattapura Police Station's jurisdiction. The complainant reported their vehicle was stolen near Yellamma Temple on March 20. Prompted by this, police registered a case and began their investigation.
During the probe, law enforcement gathered information through informants, which culminated in the arrest of the suspects on April 16 near NICE Road. The suspects confessed to multiple thefts, enabling police to recover the stolen vehicles from various locations. Their arrest has solved 20 theft cases across different city police stations. Both men have been remanded to judicial custody.
