Ongoing Conflict: Gaza Under Siege
Israeli attacks in Gaza have resulted in the deaths of at least four Palestinians, as violence continues despite a 2025 ceasefire. Health officials reported various incidents, while Israel acknowledged targeting Hamas militants. Since 2023, thousands have been killed amid ongoing clashes between Israel and Hamas.
Escalating violence in the Gaza Strip marked another grim chapter as Israeli military attacks resulted in the deaths of at least four Palestinians on Sunday, according to local health officials.
In a series of reported incidents, an airstrike by Israeli forces killed one near the central village of Al-Mughraqa, while gunfire and tank shelling claimed two lives near Gaza City. A separate incident saw the death of a 40-year-old woman in Khan Younis. The Israeli military has stated it was unaware of an attack in that area at the time.
Despite a ceasefire agreement reached in October 2025, violence has persisted, with Israel asserting that strikes have targeted Hamas militants since Friday. Over the ceasefire period, over 800 Palestinians have died, with more than 72,500 fatalities since the war began in October 2023. Israel reports that Hamas attacks led to 1,200 deaths in their initial assault.
