Rajasthan Police Crack Down on Major MD Drug Manufacturing Unit

In a significant breakthrough, the Rajasthan Police's Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) dismantled an illegal MD drug manufacturing unit on Sunday. The operation took place in Loonavpura village, concluding with the arrest of six individuals following a gunfire exchange between police and the suspects.
ANTF Inspector General Vikas Kumar reported that the team seized an astonishing 176.63 kg of MD raw material, with its market value estimated at approximately Rs 90 crore. This seizure marks the largest ever by the ANTF under 'Operation Vishgrahan.'
The illegal manufacturing setup was well-hidden, situated in a field, with the raid initiated around 3:30 am. Although the suspects attempted escape during the raid, resulting in gunfire, the police successfully captured six individuals. Investigations are ongoing to trace other suspects and unveil potential interstate and international narcotics networks.
