In a heart-wrenching incident near Benakanahalli, two young siblings lost their lives after slipping and falling into a farm pond. The tragic event unfolded on Sunday as Suchitra (11) and her brother Ravindra (9) from Kasapura village were reportedly grazing goats.
The preliminary investigation by the police suggests that the children fell into the pond while attempting to quench their thirst. This unfortunate incident has left the local community in shock and mourning.
Authorities have sent the bodies to Madhugiri Public Hospital for post-mortem examination. Meanwhile, a police case has been registered at the Midigeshi police station as further investigations continue.
