A longstanding feud culminated in tragedy when a man was allegedly hacked to death with an axe in Rajasthan's Banswara district. The incident took place in Tamtiya village, igniting tension between two rival groups.
Govind, the deceased, had reportedly visited the accused's residence intending to resolve an ongoing dispute. However, the confrontation escalated, resulting in a violent altercation. Members of the rival group allegedly attacked him with an axe, which proved fatal.
Following the killing, the village was plunged into chaos as relatives of the deceased retaliated by vandalizing and setting fire to properties associated with the accused. Local authorities, under the supervision of SP Sudhir Joshi, deployed additional police to restore peace. The investigation is ongoing, and the situation has stabilized.
