An altercation occurred at the Gandaboyinapalle toll plaza when followers of TDP MLA A Surendra Babu allegedly assaulted workers due to a delay in passing his vehicle. A video of the incident has gone viral, showing the MLA's security personnel and affiliates physically attacking toll staff.
The incident was sparked when the MLA's vehicle was halted at the toll gate on the route between Tirumala and Madanapalle. The plaza's manager explained the delay was caused by two vehicles ahead making online payments, which the staff were managing at the time.
