Mystery Stench Leads to Gruesome Discovery in Latur

The lifeless body of 39-year-old ex-Army officer Prakash Baburao Sasatte has been discovered in his residence in Latur district, Maharashtra, under curious conditions, authorities report. Currently, the cause of his death remains unclear, yet no suspicious factors have been identified.

The grim discovery emerged following complaints from neighbors about a persistent foul odor emanating from Sasatte's home in Udgir town. Residents finally alerted authorities after noticing the increasingly unpleasant smell over several days.

A police team, acting on neighborhood concerns, forcibly entered the property on Jalkot Road on Wednesday, leading to the recovery of Sasatte's body. Authorities noted he had refused any assistance from his parents before ascending to the second floor, where his lifeless form was eventually found.
