Authorities have launched an investigation after a video allegedly filmed at the Lord Ayyappa temple in Sabarimala emerged online. The incident has resulted in a case under criminal trespass being registered by the Pampa police station.
The video, uploaded on a YouTube channel operated by an autorickshaw driver, prompted the police to act after it surfaced following the temple's closure post-pooja. The driver, aged 42, is currently being questioned but has not been officially charged yet.
The police are working to determine when the video was recorded. The Special Commissioner of Sabarimala has requested a detailed report on the incident as part of the ongoing investigation.
