In Jharkhand's Hazaribag district, the mysterious deaths of three cousins have prompted the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT). The bodies, discovered in a forest, showed no external injuries, leaving the cause of death uncertain pending further testing.
Hazaribag Superintendent of Police Aman Kumar confirmed the post-mortem findings, emphasizing the need for additional tests, including diatom tests, to determine if drowning was involved. Initial police efforts have been criticized, and the families demand quicker action.
The incident, involving Mohammed Adil, Shania Perven, and Khushi Perven, has sparked allegations of police negligence in the early stages of the case. The Jharkhand State Minorities Commission is urging a thorough and speedy investigation.
