Tragic Incident: Madrassa Student Found Dead in Mosque

A 14-year-old madrassa student, Rehan, was found dead by apparent suicide at a mosque under Chanda police station limits on Friday evening, authorities reported.

Rehan, a Class 6 student of a nearby madrassa, was discovered hanging from a ceiling fan inside a room of the mosque. The incident reportedly occurred after he attended Friday prayers and returned later to the mosque.

The tragic discovery was made around 4 pm by locals who gathered for afternoon prayers. Police arrived swiftly, along with local assistance, to retrieve the body. An investigation is ongoing as the police await a post-mortem report to elucidate the circumstances of Rehan's death.
