In a swift move, police in Gujarat's Kutch district have apprehended a 32-year-old man accused of promoting extremist ISIS ideology via social media platforms, officials stated on Saturday.
The suspect, Fakirmamad Gagda of Bhuj, was detained on Friday following investigations that revealed his active dissemination of materials supporting a particular ideology.
Authorities discovered multiple social media profiles created by Gagda, allegedly used to spread posts advocating Islamic warfare, posing significant threats to national unity, West Kutch-Bhuj Special Operations Group disclosed.
