Judicial Shock Over Arrest Procedures in Delhi Murder Case

A Delhi court has raised concerns over the manner in which the police arrested a murder suspect in Bihar without obtaining a transit remand.

The suspect, Mukesh, was taken into custody in Darbhanga and later brought to Delhi, with the court indicating that legal safeguards were possibly bypassed.

In another development, the court found the arrest of a second accused, Anil, to be illegal and ordered his immediate release.
