High-Value IPL Ticket Scam Uncovered: Arrests Made
Three individuals were arrested for attempting to sell high-priced IPL tickets using forged VVIP letterheads. Three individuals were apprehended for allegedly attempting to sell high-priced IPL tickets obtained through forged VVIP letterheads, according to police reports.
The arrests were made at the RGI cricket stadium's parking area during an IPL match when a police team on patrol received information about the ticket sales.
Upon investigation, it was discovered that the individuals were part of a larger scam involving other parties and used forged documents to acquire tickets from cricket associations under fraudulent pretenses.
