In a tragic turn of events, the bodies of two cousins were discovered hanging from a neem tree in the Shahabad Kotwali area of Hardoi district on Tuesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Ravi Kushwaha, 25, and his 16-year-old cousin. The family reported them missing Monday evening, prompting a search operation.
Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Meena indicated the case appears to be a suicide, though further investigation will follow, relying on post-mortem and forensic evidence.
